At Compassionate Care Animal Hospital, we can run in-house tests, such as tests for Heartworm Disease, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, Feline Leukemia Virus, Canine Parvovirus and Fecal Parasites. Our in-house laboratory also consists of a chemistry machine, which can be used for immediate results prior to anesthesia or in the case of illness. We work with an outside laboratory for more comprehensive services, as well as for case consultations with specialists. We also are thrilled to be able to provide digital whole body radiography. Digital radiography provides us with clear diagnostic images, with less exposure time, more rapid evaluation and less radiation to your pet than the standard radiographs. If your pet is ill, we also have the capability of sending the radiographs to board certified radiologists for consultation and will have the results that same day, while continuing care for your pet at Compassionate Care Animal Hospital.
